Assistant prosecutor Frank Soto says that no villa in Casa de Campo has been confiscated in the case of Spaniard Arturo del Tiempo Marques. Marques was arrested in Spain for attempting to smuggle 1,200 kilos of cocaine from the DR through the Spanish port of Valencia. Soto says that Del Tiempo was renting the villa, and although it was searched, it was not confiscated. He confirmed the state had confiscated a luxury yacht and an apartment in a Samana tourist development that belonged to Del Tiempo. Del Tiempo's Atiemar high-rise apartment building in Santo Domingo has also been confiscated and placed in care of the Banco de Reservas, the leading financier. The Prosecutor General Office confirmed it has also requested the judicial takeover of a lot on Anacaona Avenue where a second high-rise complex, Margot Tower, was planned.
