Some interesting news

the state of Kansas House has passed a bill attached to the Human trafficking law that makes any man who is charged with solicitation of a prostitute register as a sexual predator for 10 years

after reading this law i also see that it includes Adultery offenders must register as a sexual predator

I wrote a email to all the senators telling them what i thought.

there are already laws on the books for solicitation, i also think this is a very harsh penalty for such a non offensive crime

what are your thoughts on this and how would you argue it??

pred·a·tor (prhttp://img.tfd.com/hm/GIF/ebreve.gifdhttp://img.tfd.com/hm/GIF/prime.gifhttp://img.tfd.com/hm/GIF/schwa.gif-thttp://img.tfd.com/hm/GIF/schwa.gifr, -tôrhttp://img.tfd.com/hm/GIF/lprime.gif)n.1. An organism that lives by preying on other organisms.
2. One that victimizes, plunders, or destroys, especially for one's own gain.

How do these definitions relate to a business transaction between two consenting adults? I know I'm preaching to the choir, but registering with the state for a decade is BEYOND malicious!

Now I kind of get what the saying "Were not in Kansas anymore" means.

I wonder if they extend this to overseas for the moral people of Kansas?

Amen brother Papi.
This is one topic we agree on 100%//
I grew up in Europe, in a COMMUNIST country, and im starting to think I had more Freedoms there than I do here , NOW.

Labeling us "Predators" for having Sex with another Consenting Adult? That’s Some scary shit.. in Europe today this is a simple business transaction.

I can’t see myself retiring in this country any more. Not sure where I will call home, but I definitely can see myself renouncing my US citizenship.

This is one of the most ignorant bills that I have ever seen. I can understand this if we are talking about low life people who go after children being sold into prostitution. But when a man is engaging a adult woman who is freely in the trade, it is between those two individuals. There is no crime. What are these KS lawmakers thinking?   :icontd: :icontd: :icontd:

My feeling is the 500 or so men busted each month will clog the system so much the sexual predator list will become a joke,, but i still disagree with the Big Brother attitude to wards two consenting adults

thanks Kevy

It will be very interesting to see if this bill passes the senate, they will need to change the language or agree with it to become law
