The Dominican Golf Hall of Fame honored golfers Ramon Baez Romano, Julio Gamez, Antonio (Papia) Najri, Juan Rafael Santoni, Henry Butler Tomei, John H. Jack Furet and Ignacio Guerra at a ceremony last week that coincided with the celebration of the PGA Senior Tours Championship in Cap Cana. Hale Irwin and Larry Nelson of the World Golf Hall of Fame presented the awards. Also present were Mike Stevens, president of PGA Tours Champions Tour and Rafael Canario, director of the Dominican Federation of Golf.
