Spaniard Juan Antonio Hidalgo de Moya, administrator of the company Star Marble, responsible for the shipment of the freight containers to Spain in which 1,200 kilograms of cocaine were found, was arrested and later released. The shipment was made to a company registered in the name of Arturo del Tiempo Marques, who was arrested in Spain accused of attempted drug smuggling.
Moscoso says that the company was investigated and they found documents that linked the shipment to Prado Universal, owner of the drugs that were seized, as reported in Diario Libre on 31 March.
Hidalgo was later released on the grounds of insufficient evidence to incriminate him in the drug smuggling operation.
