Award-winning electro-pop group Miranda will be appearing at the Teatro La Fiesta of the Hotel Jaragua on 1 May at 10pm. The group, which comes from Argentina, was formed in 2001 and Rolling Stone Magazine named it the best newcomer of 2002. Miranda has won several MTV Video Music Awards for Latin America, the Vina del Mar International Song Festival, Toing Awards and a Latin Grammy Award, among others. Group members are Alejandro Sergi (vocals), Juliana Gattas (vocals), Lolo Fuentes (guitar), Bruno de Vincenti (programming) and Nicolas Grimaldi (bass). In a Global Beats promotion, their concert in Santo Domingo is part of their Miranda es Imposible Tour.
