It was across the street from Crystals. It was a row of small dive bars and you could find gems here from time to time.

Lets go back in time and remember!

Went through all my photos and could not find any of the bars across from Cristals and around the Long Beach corner. What a bummer!

yes, i'll never forget that time when the tourist police came by and the hatianas scattered like roaches when the lights come on. them girls were out of there.

i remeber that from about 5-6 years ago i used to have some drinks thair before i went into crystals but for some reason its all gone

For myself it was rum and coke. Here is one photo of Frank's La Fuente and a couple of photos around the corner facing the ocean of Cheers and one of us in the Canadian bar.

Summer 2004...she was leaving Long Beach when we were arriving. I had to do a u-turn! Good times.

Some more photos I found. 1) Pasahos across from Cristals. 2) Wienerwald Bar and 3) The old Long Beach hotel. Both facing the ocean.

I have fond memories of the this old hotel, it was a room "under" the back porch area where some chica had her room. On my first trip to Puerto Plata and on my first night in town she took me back for my first encounter with a Dominican chica. She worked at the Roof Top bar above the old Ocenica Hotel near the port.

With no Spanish and all alone I'll have to admit I was scared to death. She didn't ask for any money so I put $10us (1988) in her shoe and left about daylight to wait on the cement wall across the street. A friend came to pick me up in the morning and I was hooked forever on Dominican chicas.

Wow, I haven't been on this site for a while, so I just started checking some threads of interest. I have really fond memories of those Long Beach Bars and have found many, many gems there.

About 10 years ago, a buddy and me took our bikes down to one of those bars on the west end. We had a few beers and were charmed by a hot bartender there. There was this boy there--maybe 15 or 16, just hanging around, being a pest to the bartender. When the bartender offered up her self to my friend (who is absolutely nuts), he said no, but he'll give her 200 pesos if she takes the boy in the back room and sucks him off. Big smile on the kid, and it took some convincing....but she did it, and the boy was eternally grateful to us.

Another bar we went to was a little creepy. It was daylight, and we sat down curbside for a few cold ones. Some dude says he wants to give us a tour of the back rooms, saying that we'll like what we see. We walk through the dark disgusting corridor, and there are little cubicles with curtains and mattresses on the floor. We saw a few rooms occupied but the dude brings us to a room with some girls who were not taken. All the girls were well-underage....I'm talking maybe pre-teens. I looked at my buddy and we just bolted as quickly as possible. It was fucking scary as when we left the corridor, another dude was standing in our way, and he showed us the pistol in his waistband.

The next time I went to LB, maybe 4 months later, the place was thankfully gone.
