The conjoined twins born at the Luis Aybar Hospital in Santo Domingo last Thursday have been transferred to the Robert Reid Cabral Children's Hospital. Doctors at Plaza de la Salud are carrying out tests into the feasibility of separating the twin girls, who share one liver. The twins, Maria Teresa and Teresa Maria, have three brothers - Cristian Alejandro Tapia, 16, Anderson, 9 and Angel, 2. Their parents are Elisandra Santos and Marino Tapia.
