C-mike in the DR - warning no mongering involved

Ok, ok, you guys were inquiring about my trip… well here is the report... I spent almost the entire trip with my boy and our girlfriends and DT and GDogg .. we rented a few Honda CRV's and managed to see a lot of stuff:

1)Me and my buddy went golfing in Jarabacoa together with a couple of gentlemen from Santiago,

2)Me and my bud bought white tailored suits in Santiago at RD$ 3,900 a suit,

3)We visited a cigar factory in Santiago together with DT after which we had a lot of fun with some car wash girls,

4)We explored Santiago, had dinner at Camp David, went dancing in Ambis and met a few people there (thx to DT),

5)We went to see a Frank Reyes concert with DT and GDogg, where we all danced with the two girls and had our pictures taken with Frank :lol:,

6)We visited Boca Chica together with DT.. it was dead and we spent one night in SDQ, eating at the Italian place at the start of the Malecon (San Franscisco), before ending up at the Jaragua casino,

7)We visited the girls family in both SDQ and a small town on the North Coast, where they cooked us dinner and we spent the evening hanging out, DT has pics of the girls in wedding dress (which will not be posted on pain of instantaneous death),

8)We spent one night dancing away at the local tipico (El Canoe in El Batey) and eating out (Michaels Stone in Charamiscos) in Sosua with GDogg and his good girl,

9)We took GDogg to see Santiago on the day I had to go for the suits and showed him around town a bit, I believe he took no less than 100 pictures,

10)We spent a few days in Cabarete meeting up with everyone I know there who works in the tourist industry (mainly Germans)..

In short there were no monger activities and you may feel I let you guys down I guess... but I immensely enjoyed myself, had a relaxing holiday and I have sworn affidavits from both GDogg and DT that my girl and that of my buddy were looking so good we had no need to cheat.. :shock:

Really now, sounds like a great trip. I enjoy traveling with friends and sight seeing. Groups of 6-8 work fine for me.

You know the wimmin are always gonna be there, so you do other stuff more and more.

We had a great time.. i.e. when we went to visit the tabacco factory in Santiago we left the girls RD$ 500 each, the girls went into town, to the salon and bought identical outfits and were waiting for us dressed and groomed in the hotel rooms (only slightly pissed because we were a bit later than expected :P ) with money to spare..

I guess after more than 60 trips, living in the DR for 2 years etc, I can relate to your trip report. I was just in the DR for over a month. I only did 3 girls the entire trip. I did go out on a bunch of dates with nice girls and had more fun doing that. One girl from santiago in particular is warranting a trip back.

I would remembe ra great night witha great gril and some friends at a Frank Reyes concert long after I forget the details of banging some casa chick or MP chica.

To me there is much more to the DR than mongering, although as others have stated, knowing you can get laid by a hot chick any time you want is a great "plan b".

The lines can get blurry though. Many mongers have limited exposure to the "real" DR and assume all chicas are putas, western union scammers etc etc etc. DT who is sometimes criticized for not being as hardcore as most mongers. . . . . .seemed surprised that a girl in a normal dance club might not apreciate his putting her in perrito position. . . . .that is classic.

The girl I went out with in STI, is young, college student, virgin, never had a novio, doesn't drink and will not set foot in a car wash, as she thinks people that go to car washes and especially the girls that work there are not "decente".

I never would have thought I could have a great time with such a girl. . . .but wonders never cease, and I am trying to plan out when I can go see her next. . . . . .

I never have had a problem putting a girl in the perrito position in Santiago. They respect Merengue there unlike the capitol. And I am talking in the upper class dance clubs where the girls don't even know how to dance Bachata!
