Changes in the ballots may still be forthcoming as the Central Electoral Board (JCE) Disputes Chamber continues to review appeals from political parties on the registration of candidates for the congressional and municipal election scheduled for 16 May 2010. The revisions will continue until Friday, according to the head of the JCE Administrative Chamber, Roberto Rosario. The work is being done by the JCE's Elections and Information Technology departments. Afterwards, political party delegates will be asked to check, sign off and authorize all changes.
Rosario said that they would be verifying names and photographs of municipal candidates, and that they needed to complete the process of some congressional candidacies that need to comply with recent decisions by the JCE plenary.
