A Santo Domingo court presided by Alina Mora, Natividad Ramona Santos and Rafael Pacheco has discharged US pilot Roberto Enrique Bourgeois, accused of piloting a clandestine flight on 16 November. The flight was scheduled to travel from El Portillo to Punta Cana, but after the plane took off the pilot headed for Puerto Rico. Bourgeois was accused of making clandestine flights from Dominican domestic airports to Puerto Rico. However, the court determined that he had not committed the crime of which he was accused.
