Arturo Rodriguez Fernandez was found dead in his apartment on Friday. He is suspected to have died of a heart attack. He was known for being a writer, storyteller, playwright and lawyer, but best of all for his talents as a movie promoter and film critic. Until his sudden death, he served as director of the Muestra International de Cine de Santo Domingo, the leading film festival. He was born in 1948.
