The National Police said that their agents have shot and killed two suspected criminals who were being pursued on charges of killing a 14-year old and wounding his father. The incident took place in La Mula in Las Matas de Farfan. According to police reports, the two killed a boy and wounded his 70-year old father while robbing a small motorcycle. When the Police approached the pair in the Magollon section of San Juan de la Maguana, they were fired at and the return fire killed the two, Jochi Encarnacion Ramirez, 18, and Alberto Solis, 30. The police recovered a .12 ga. Remington shotgun and a Honda C-50 motorcycle that had been assembled from parts of the motorcycle stolen from the surviving victim, Heliodoro Subervi Roa (Colon). The police also recovered the murder weapon, a modified machete.
