The main hall of the National Theater will host a free show "Las guitarras cantan a Luis Dias" - guitars sing to Luis Dias - in memory of the famous Dominican composer. The show is part of activities programmed for the Santo Domingo International Book Fair.
Appearing on stage will be Pavel Nunez, Victor Victor, Janio Lora, Marel Alemany, Roldan Marmol, Jose Duluc, Xiomara Fortuna, Claudio Cohen, German Venegas, Susana Silfa, Javier Celado, Tatiana Mejia, Felix D' Oleo, Ana Marina Guzman, Nelson Pocket and Frank Grullon, who will play music and classics by Luis Dias. These songs include: Marola, Baila en la calle, Las vampiras, Ay ombe, El Guachiman, El guardia del arsenal and La Pringamosa. Admission is free, but tickets need to be obtained at the National Theater box office before 6pm.
