The A Song of Hope for Haiti concert organized by Juan Luis Guerra collected US$2.5 million that will be used to build a children's hospital in Haiti. According to a press release, the benefit concert by Juan Luis Guerra and Alejandro Sanz, Enrique Iglesias, Juanes, Miguel Bose, Luis Fonsi, Maridalia Hernandez and Milly Quezada at the Olympic Stadium on 18 April served as a fund-raiser for the hospital.
