The Central Electoral Board (JCE) says it plans to issue a first bulletin on the results of the 16 May election at 9pm. The JCE also announced that private media are banned from issuing or transmitting news, information, messages, and other communications that could interfere with the role of the JCE and affect the normal development of the election in any way.
JCE president Julio Cesar Castanos Guzman said that international electoral observers are invited to the transmission of the first bulletin in a transmission by radio and TV made by CERTV, the state television and radio network.
