Serulle vs Sued in Santiago

One of the hottest municipal races on right now is between Gilberto Serulle of the PRD and Jose Enrique Sued for the PRSC/PLD alliance. Interestingly, Serulle, a two-time deputy for the province, had challenged the PRSC's Sued to run for mayor for Santiago on the PLD/PRSC alliance. The government voted in favor of supporting Sued's aspirations to run for a third term. Sued is a professional politician, while Serulle worked as a doctor. Interestingly, both are descendants of Lebanese immigrants.
