Yolanda Manan, spokesperson for Las Americas International Airport says that European flights to the DR have not been affected by the latest disruptions caused by the volcanic ash cloud. She said that Iberia, Air France and Air Europa have continued to fly regularly. Although several Spanish airports have been closed due to the volcanic ash, Madrid's Barajas airport will remain open.
