Tono Lena sent to Monte Plata

The suspected drug trafficker who was personally brought back from Venezuela by Police chief Rafael Guzman Fermin, Ramon del Rosario Puente (Tono Lena) has been sent to one year's preventive custody at Monte Plata jail while the case against him is being heard. He insists there is no evidence that can be used against him in court. The National Drug Control Department (DNCD) has linked him to fugitive Puerto Rican drug baron Jose Figueroa Agosto.
