Most readers will vote on Sunday

Most readers of El Caribe newspaper's website (elcaribe.com.do) who are eligible to vote are planning to exercise their right on Sunday. The website held an online poll and 61% of respondents confirmed their intention to vote. Only 5% said that they did not know if they were going to vote or not. Nearly a thousand people took part in the poll. The congressional and municipal elections are taking place on Sunday and over 4,000 elective positions are up for grabs. The voting population of over six million will have 13,150 polling stations at which to cast their votes.
