Major life changes afoot, which call for fucking in public: fucking minds, fucking so many bodies, fucking with the windows wide open (don't judge me by my absence; judge me by my unread Bloglines and open tabs in Firefox).
All the big steps I've taken over the last ten years, and the last one especially, have happened "here" (online, on the Web, in public) first. I never developed my placeholder MySpace page until that article about me (and it) on the cover of the Chronicle (http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2006/05/20/MNGMFIVF4U1.DTL), but that's where I first announced my new job last week. (You go hunt. I'll wait here.) My grassroots activist re-awakening (and reckoning, really) unfolded as I blogged it for the Desiree Alliance (http://sexworkerrights.wordpress.com), a plain move on my part, knowing that documenting that shift live would only propel it further -- not just in distance, but in depth.
Which brings me to the fucking.
