Canadian tourist mugged in her hotel

A man accused of beating and robbing a Canadian tourist in a hotel in Cabarete has been arrested by the National Police.
The detainee is Reinaldo Sanchez Murray, 23, of Cuesta Barrosa, Sabaneta de Yásica.
Police reports say that the Canadian, Mónica Crisanty Dobocan, 27, was talking with another tourist, when she was pushed to the ground and then beaten and assaulted by Murray and his companion. The muggers then stole her bag containing a digital camera, some cash, the room key and her ID.
