The Alina Abreu Ballet company presents "The Corsair" at the National Theater. This is a major production with 150 dancers, with Laura Fernandez and Allison Garcia in the lead roles. Performances are at 8:30pm on Thursday, 27, Friday, 28 and Saturday 29 May. There will be an additional performance on Friday, 28 May at 10:30am. Tickets are for sale at the National Theater and the Alina Abreu Ballet School on Romulo Betancourt Avenue, almost directly opposite the Bella Vista Mall. Fidel Lopez is responsible for the scenery and Bienvenido Miranda for the lighting. Costumes are by Magaly Rodriguez and production is by Carmen Maria Grullon.
