The ruling PLD and allies received 1,638,173 votes (54%) for legislators, and the PRD and allies received 1,267,566 votes (42%). The PRSC received 48,032 votes (2%), according to Bulletin 12 of the JCE that takes into account 90% of polling stations. Without the alliances, the PLD would have received 42% of the vote and the PRD 39%.
The JCE said that as of Bulletin 12, for the congressional vote was 3,011,320, or 49% of 6,116,397 registered voters. The annulled votes were 137,762, for 5% of the total. As of Bulletin 12, the PLD lead in 30 provinces and the National District, and the PRSC had won in the La Altagracia province.
