In the 2010 election, preliminary results as of Bulletin 13 show the PLD has obtained 31 seats in the Senate, 105 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and 92 mayor posts. The PRD obtained 75 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and 57 mayor posts. The PRSC obtained 1 senate seat and 4 mayor posts.
In the 2006 election, the PLD won 22 senate seats, 96 deputies and 67 mayor posts. The PRD won 6 senate seats, and 60 deputy seats, and 52 mayor posts.
In 2002 election, the PLD won 29 senate seats, 73 deputy seats and 104 mayor posts. The PLD won 1 senate, 41 deputies and 7 mayor posts. The PRSC won 2 senators, 37 deputies and 11 mayor posts, as reported in Clave newspaper.
