Yanelis Rodriguez Agustin, 21, is being accused by police of complicity in the murder of Jose Sterlin Ortiz Tejeda, who was shot to death 18 June to steal his cellular phone. She was sentenced to three months preventive prison as a coercion measure by the Permanent Instruction Court of Santo Domingo Province. Rodriguez was carrying the cellular phone when arrested by the police in Los Guaricanos, according to police spokesman Simon Diaz. She will be kept in Najayo Prison, while the case hearings take place.
