The case of 4 missing kilos of cocaine

Air Force Mayor Edwin Herrera Martinez was sent to jail for a year as the case for the missing 4 kilos of cocaine confiscated in a raid to Francisco Tavarez is heard, as reported in Diario Libre. Accomplices in the case, Police Lieutenant Colonel Francisco Vargas Urena and prosecutor Lucia Florentino were allowed to post bail of RD$2 million (RD$200,000) as the case is heard. Six other agents, Manuel Rosario de los Santos, Harlen Lara Mateo, Duarte Andres Rosario Paulino, Camilo Ogando Ventura, Andres Julio Segura Caceres and Jorge Luis Lopez Nunez were ordered to make periodic appearances at the court. Prosecutor Carlos Castillo Diaz said that Herrera was sent to jail because he had in his possession the missing 4 kilos of cocaine.
