Spanish songwriter and singer Javier Alvarez will be giving a concert in the majestic setting of the Ruins of San Francisco in Santo Domingo's Colonial City. Alvarez won the award for best contemporary pop album in the Premios de la Musica 2010 and the Premio Ondas as the rookie artist of the year in 1995. The concert, organized by Centro Cultural de Espana takes place on 11 June at 9 pm.
