Before I started renting in Hispaniola, I used to stay in the Casa Linda vills community. That's where I got my first taste of the villa experience. Their villas are decent, but not as nice or well furnished as Hispaniola villas. And Casa Linda is a good bit away from the action. You're going to need a vehicle.
