A spell of hot temperatures and high humidity is affecting the DR. Physicians are recommending the use of light clothing, drinking lots of fluids, and avoiding extreme exercises. Physicians Pedro Urena, Hector Mateo and Rafael Isa in a report in Hoy recommend taking light meals fit for summer. Exercise should be late in the afternoon or in the early morning, when the sun is low.
