The Santo Domingo Jazz Festival is in its 10th year at Casa de Teatro. Eight groups from the Americas and Europe will perform on Thursdays in June and July starting 10 June. The Festival opens with the duo Mestizaje from Cuba. It continues with Fractal (Spain) on 17 June, and Negroni's Trio from Puerto Rico on 24 June. In July, the program includes Corey Allen & Slay and the Bars (USA/DR) for 1 July, Felle Vega (DR) for 8 July, Laviso Trio (France) 15 July, El Prodigio en Jazz (DR) on 22 July, and Santo Domingo Jazz Big Band (DR) on 29 July. Casa de Teatro is located at Arz. Merino street near the intersection with Padre Billini street in the Colonial City.
