Hoy newspaper reports today that President Leonel Fernandez seems to be more open to giving interviews and answering questions from foreign journalists than to the local press. The newspaper says that President Fernandez has only occasionally been available to talk on subjects of his choice and has not been available to answer questions from the local press on timely subjects. The newspaper says that when Fernandez was on the campaign trail, Hoy reporter Rosa Alcantara asked him to comment on the Atiemar Tower case. The President ignored the question and boarded his vehicle.
