The Dominican Air Force is getting ready to receive the last six Super Tucanos of the eight planes that were ordered from Brazil last year. The planes were purchased to help stop illegal drug drops coming from South America.
According to Air Force chief of staff General Carlos Rafael Altuna Tezanos, three of the aircraft will arrive between the 18 and 20 of July and the other three planes will arrive in August. According to reports, the use of the two existing Super Tucanos has significantly reduced the number of drug flights coming from the south.
