[DR1] Constitutional consultations in August

The 13 legal experts called upon by the President and his advisors to carry out the Constitutional Consultations and subsequent reforms to the Dominican Constitution met with the President for several hours on Friday, and, according to El Caribe, they have agreed to start consulting with the different interest groups in August. Monsignor Agripino Nunez Collado, the Coordinator of the National Dialogue, told reporters that the lawyers want to make the consultation as broad as possible. He added that the President had not expressed any preference for the type of Constitution that results from the reform process.
