The Public Electricity Corporation (CDEEE) is encouraging citizens who have complaints to visit or contact the new Contact Center for Information and Communication for the Development of the National Electricity Sector (ICODEN). Located on the second floor of the CDEEE building on Av. Independencia 1428 in the Centro de los Heroes, the new customer service unit was opened to monitor complaints from consumers in coordination with EdeSur, EdeNorte and EdeEste consumers. The office is open to the public from 8am to 5pm on Monday to Friday and from 8am to 12-noon on Saturday.
The ICODEN promises to monitor each complaint until it is resolved, says CDEEE vice president Celso Marranzini. He says this will help monitor the quality of service of the distribution companies, now under government management.
He said periodic polls would be conducted to determine customer satisfaction with the electricity providers. The contact numbers are 809 508-9111 and 809 200-2111. The fax number is 809 533-1132.
