The Association of Dominican Exporters (Adoexpo) and the Commonwealth Round Table have signed an agreement aimed at implementing strategies to diversify export markets for Dominican products. Kai Schoenhals signed for Adoexpo. Presidents of Commonwealth nations with chambers of commerce in the DR also signed.
These included Marcos Pena Rodriguez for the British Chamber of Commerce and Eduardo Dominguez for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. Signing for the Trinidad & Tobago Chamber of Commerce was Carlos Reyes, for India Eulogio Santaella and for South Africa, Norman de Castro. Witnessing the signing were UK Ambassador Steven M Fisher and Fernando Gonzalez Nicolas, president of the Commonwealth Roundtable.
Schoenhals said that the agreement seeks to identify opportunities for Dominican exports in the 54 Commonwealth member countries.
