The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) reported today that a low pressure trough has been located over the Mona Passage, moving eastwards to the DR. Onamet has forecast that for the next 24-48 hours there would be scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms over most of the country. Summer high temperatures will prevail. Partly cloudy skies are forecast for Santo Domingo with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
