Every week, or day, or hour, another guy decides to see what this is all about. He joins up on a board and he should start to read. Most will seem like made up stories, but they are real for the most part.

Get involved, we talk about many other things here. Get your name out there so when you decide to make that first trip, other members will know who you are.

There were guys that started maybe 5 years ago and now, some are moderators.

I started OK by kissing yours, but it has all been downhill since then. :(

Have fun on the board. Take lots of pics on your trips and share them on your trip reports. Before you know it, you will have many new friends without even meeting them first. You can also find out when other guys are in town and hook up with them on future trips. Best thing.....don't be afraid to post something.

How many trips do you have to take to lose your newbie status?

should depend on the person, not the number of trips.

I guess it all depends on the guy. There are guys going for 5 or 10 years and they are clueless.

My goal is to remove my 'newbie' status after my 3rd trip in September in the Villa.

After collecting three mongering badges from Jimmy

1. Trip report with pics badge
2. Meeting higher-ups on the ground badge (a minimum of 2 BoD members, for which you must buy a Presidente)
3. Fucking 10 DR hoes (with pic to prove it) badge

You can apply for aspiring monger status with any of the MODs and loose the newbie status..

I think being good at posting trip reports on a board and having experience from multiple trips to multiple locations are two different things. I may have figured out Sosua a little quicker than some, but I have a long way to go to lose 'newbie' status.

Two trips does not a veteren monger make.

I may be going to Cartehanga (spelling?) for a wedding in January. Maybe the weekend there and the rest of the week in Medellin. I allready have plans for the first week of Sept in Sosua to try out the villas, Santiago, and Dom Cupid.
