A record number of 13 Dominicans are on the All Star Game set for Tuesday, 13 July at the Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California.
Playing for the American League, Robinson Cano (second base, Yankees), Vladimir Guerrero (rangers, designated batter), Neftali Feliz (Rangers, pitcher), Jose Reyes (Mets, shortstop), Fausto Carmona (Indians, pitcher) and Jose Valverde (Tigers, pitcher).
Reserves: David Ortiz (Red Sox), Alex Rodriguez (Yankees) and Adrian Beltre (Red Sox).
Playing for the National League will be Dominicans Yadier Molina (Cardinals, catcher), Albert Pujols (Cardinals, first base), Hanley Ramirez (Marlins, shortstop) and Ubaldo Jimenez (Rockies, pitcher).
Fans in the US and around the world cast their votes for the 2010 All-Star Game.
