The National Theater's Carlos Piantini Hall is the venue for this world-class dance event, set for 9-10 July and bringing together dancers from Europe, the US and the DR. Monika Despradel, public relations officer for Orange Dominicana, main sponsor of the World Danza Gala, said that Elisa Cabrera and Mikhail Kaniskin, Iana Salenko and Marian Walter, hail from Germany. Coming from Spain are Francisco Lorenzo and Marina Jimenez. From the Miami City Ballet, Patricia Delgado. From Holland, Dominican Michele Jimenez and Jan Zerer. Participating for the DR is the National Ballet with Tango by choreographer Isadora Bruno. The performances are a benefit for the Nido para Angeles Foundation.
