Just go to AA.com and sign up for their advantage members. 30,000 miles gets you a free trip to DR and you also get upgrades as well. 3 up grade points will put you in 1st class. Also when you become a gold member you get some good perks such as being able to check in on the 1st class line even if you have a coach ticket.This can really save you some time.
