I checked in at the Napolitano Hotel on July 20, 2006.
The cheapest room was $82 which includes breakfast, tax, and one free drink (assholes). I called when I made my reservation because the front desk said that it is cheaper to call than to book online. I do not know why.
The contact info. for the Napolitano is the following.
Napolitano Hotel
Ave. George Washington No. 101
Santo Domingo
Tel: 809-687-1131
Fax: 809-687-6814

All rooms have an ocean view, cable TV (but only around 10 channels), A/C, and a telephone.
The facility includes a casino (its very small), a swimming pool, restaurant, open terrace (with an ocean view), beauty salon, gift shop (they just sell bikinis), and a disco night club (I did not visit this place).
Here are a few pictures of the room and swimming pool so that you can get a better idea.

The massage room on the second floor offers extra services. The girl I was with is Elevyn.
The hotel gives you only 31 pesos for 1 US Dollar. So its better to change your money at a casa cambio or the airport.
There is a small casino on the first floor of this hotel. A few freelancers will hang around here.
There is one pretty waitress at the casino name Elis. She told me that she is single. She is really cute. So for those of you who speak Spanish, go for it!!! ;)
The guest fee (to bring a girl to your room) is 340 pesos or $10. The girl needs to show her I.D. and they will make a copy of it.
The pool is nice, the bar is nice. But I asked the front desk to give me a wake up call which they forgot not once,.........but twice!
The dry cleaning service is pretty good.
