German murdered in Santo Domingo

A man identified as Werner Munch, a 65-year old single German who lived in a two-level house in the Rosmil neighborhood, off Av. Luperon, was murdered yesterday, Hoy reports. Reportedly, he was the owner of a finance company located in Calle El Conde, in the Colonial City. Neighbors say that those who killed him were persons he trusted. The neighbors told Hoy that three persons arrived on board a Honda Accord, with one staying inside the vehicle. The two who entered gagged the domestic help. Reportedly, the assailants killed the man by placing a pillow on his chest and shooting at him. When fleeing, the men injured a 7-year old child. They escaped on board a small motorbike they stole from a man who was passing.
