Diario Libre speculates that high-ranking government officers'expressions that there will not be sacred cows in the case of Jose David Figueroa Agosto is hard to understand. The newspaper comments on one government officer who appears in photos at the birthday party of the daughter of Puerto Rican drug capo Jose David Figueroa Agosto. "If he was at the birthday party, it was because they had a close relationship," speculates the newspaper. It goes on to comment that people are trying to figure out the name of this person, "and the subject is so Happy (Feliz in Spanish), as if he had been anointed by John the Baptist (Juan El Bautista)". Diario Libre concludes that the Bible says that he who looks, will find, and then asks, "When?"
Senator-elect for San Juan de la Maguana, presently supervisor of Public Works for the Presidency, Felix Bautista, admitted to contracting Mary Pelaez for government works. Pelaez is under arrest for complicity and money laundering in the case of Jose David Figueroa Agosto.
