Famous Dominican Grammy award-winning jazz pianist Michel Camilo is booked for an 8:30pm Friday, 30 July concert at the Gran Teatro Regional del Cibao in Santiago. He will be accompanied by Cuban Charles Flores on bass and American Cliff Almond on drums. The production is named Michel Camilo Trio.
Camilo is rated as one of the leading American jazz figures. The evening promises fiercely brilliant jazz music spiced with Caribbean rhythms, improvisation and Latin flair.
