The Justice Minister of Puerto Rico, Guillermo Somoza met with Prosecutor General Radhames Jimenez Pena in Santo Domingo yesterday, as reported in Listin Diario. They reportedly coordinated joint plans to strengthen international cooperation to tackle organized crime, including follow-up to the case of arrested Puerto Rican murderer Jose David Figueroa Agosto. Jimenez Pena told the press that Figueroa Agosto's recent capture in Puerto Rico is proof of the efficiency of international cooperation. Somoza is also scheduled to visit the judges of the Supreme Court of Justice.
