The District Attorney for the National District is requesting coercive measures for two men involved in substituting drugs for powder and for selling the drugs that had been confiscated by the authorities. Willian Alcantara Morillo and Ruddy Argeniz Romero, employees at the National Institute of Forensic Science are facing these serious charges. The Court of Permanent Attention will hear the request for coercive measures today, according to their defense lawyer, Pedro Duarte Canaan.
The Attorney General of the Republic says that Alcantara Morillo worked in the vault where the drugs were kept for testing, and he exchanged them for a false powder that was delivered by Romero. The defendants are also charged with selling the stolen drugs in the Honduras section of the city.
