As part of the celebration of Santo Domingo 2010 American Capital of Culture, the Fundacion Palm, a group of architects seeking to create a local awareness of our architectural heritage, has prepared Five Architectural Routes of Santo Domingo from August to December.
The second tour promises a privileged overview of the architectural wonders of Gazcue on Sunday, 15 August. Spaces need to be pre-paid by Friday, 13 August at Arbaje Tours at 2 Pedro A Bobea Street in Bella Vista, Tel. 809 535-4941. The next of the five-tour series will be on 29 August of Contemporary Santo Domingo, the Periphery of Santo Domingo on 12 September and city's high rises on 19 September.
