President Leonel Fernandez joins the exclusive group of Buenaventura Baez (1849-1853, 1856-1858, 1865-1866, 1868-1873 and 1876-1878), Ulises Francisco Hereaux alias Lilis (1882-1884 and 1887-1899), Rafael Leonidas Trujillo (1930-1952), and Joaquin Balaguer (1960-62, 1966-1978, 1986-1996) who have served 10 years as President.
