As of 10 August, the Dominican government has diplomatic relations with the government of Brunei Darussalam.
The signing of the Joint Communique took place at the Office of the Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in New York.
Signing for Brunei was Latif bin Tuah, Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to New York. The DR was represented by Federico Alberto Cuello Camillo, Permanent Representative of the Dominican Republic to the United Nations.
