The Central Bank reports that the consumer price index for July was up 0.34% compared to June. The accumulated inflation rate for the first seven months of the year is 3.22%, less than the 3.31% registered last year. Increases in fuel prices stimulated inflation. Inflation over the past 12 months was 5.67%.
